About Me

Credentials:

My name is Jamie Rector and I was born and raised in Kentucky. I have been teaching elementary school since 2003. I have teaching experience in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades, as well as multi-age classrooms. I also taught as an adjunct university professor in the Elementary Education department at Western Kentucky University. I have my Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, and Rank 1 Certification with a Gifted Education Endorsement and Math Specialist. It's no secret that I love to learn.

I have also designed and presented many professional development training sessions for my school, district, and state. I have a strong passion for curriculum and instruction and I love helping teachers alongside students.
