Hello! Happy Monday! I am linking up with Denise from Sunny Days in Second Grade for a little "My Truth Monday". Click the button above to read more or to join in on the fun! Today's topic is Becoming a Teacher. My journey is a simple one. It's all I ever wanted to do and with the help of a couple very memorable teachers and the support of truly awesome parents, my dream came true. Here's my story...
So, I have to give a shout-out to all the other teachers out there! You never know how much influence you are having on your students. I always wanted to be the happy, fun teacher that these two teachers were for me. I wanted to be JUST LIKE THEM! I can only hope that I am half the teacher that these ladies were for me. The neat twist to this story is that I still live in the same town, so I see these two ladies on a regular basis. I still love them as much as I did in 2nd/3rd grade. Get this: one of these ladies even substituted in my classroom last year - wow! Isn't that the coolest?! :)
Now head on over to Sunny Days in Second Grade and link up for more fun stories about becoming a teacher!

I am loving reading these stories about how teachers inspired us to be teachers. Heartwarming- especially when they come back to visit you and tell you that is why they chose the profession. I've had that happen a few times and it's a precious moment! Thanks for sharing!
