Currently {Late} and Tagged

I'm linking up with Farley from Oh' Boy 4th Grade with her monthly Currently.  I'm a bit late {gasp} but better late than never!  Click her button to head on over and join in the fun!

Now when I say my super power of choice would be to transfer into a magic cleaning fairy, I mean, very selfishly, that I want to be my own magic cleaning fairy {no one else's}.  Seriously, it's bad.  When you walk into my classroom, everything is labeled, color-coded, organized, and basically clean.  Now, when you walk into my house....different story.  I'm one of those people who feels like unless it's a little messy, it just doesn't feel like home, right?!  Anybody else feel me on this one?  Or am I a complete slob?  :)

On another note, I have been tagged by several fellow bloggers to join into a fun game of question and answer.  So here goes:

Tori over at Tori's Teacher Tips asked me the following questions:

1. What is your favorite season? My favorite season is summer.  I love the sun, the beach, and all the fun activities that go with it.
2.  If you could live any where in the world, where would it be and why? I would live right where I'm at.  I wouldn't want to change a thing :)
3. What is the most recent book you've read? I'm reading The Hunger Games right now and I'm completely sucked in...
4. Team Jacob or Team Edward? Totally Team Jacob
5. What is your favorite part about teaching? Seeing the student growth in one year's time.
6. Who is your celebrity crush? I don't really crush on celebrities.
7. Name 2 things you can't live without. This is easy: 1) my iPhone, 2) my Macbook Air - self-proclaimed Mac Geek right here.
8. What is your favorite read aloud? I love me some Junie B. Jones.  She's my favorite, but I also really, really love Because of Winn-Dixie towards the end of the year when my 2nd graders are a little more mature.  They really get into the story.
9. What lead you to the teaching world? I've always, as long as I can remember, wanted to be a teacher.  So it must've just been what I was born to do.
10. Sweet or Salty? That's easy peasy - Salty without a doubt.

Emily over at Second Grade Silliness asked me the following questions:

1. Cash or credit? Always credit, I never have cash.  I've been known to put 53 cents on my check card...
2. Math/Science or Reading/Writing? Reading/Writing - I love to see the ideas and connections flow together.
3. Real book or e-reader? Without a doubt, I love, love, love to read on my iPad.  I never thought I would like it, but now that I've tried it, I will probably never buy another paper book again.  Seriously, it's awesome partly because I can stay up late reading at night in bed without my husband being blinded by the bedside table lamp :)
4. Dog or cat? Dog.  So much more friendly.
5. Chocolate or vanilla? Vanilla
6. Coffee or soda?  Can't stand coffee, but a Coca-Cola Classic will wake me up in the morning.
7. Heels or flats? I'm more of a heels girl, but now that I've hit the big 3-0, it seems that flats are more appealing to me now....hmmmm.....
8. Mac or PC? Mac all the way baby!
9. Book or movie version first? Definitely read the book first, but then I always like to see the movie to see if the characters and setting that I've visualized while reading are anywhere close to what they are in the movie.
10. Winter break or Spring Break? Spring Break - warmer temperatures!

Thanks for tagging me ladies!  I will have to see who all has been tagged and come back to tag others.  I'm way behind on my Google Reader.  Do you guys use Google Reader to stay up-to-date on your blog stalking hopping?  If not, you really need to try it.  Have a great week!
